This version update optimizes touchpad and touchscreen gestures, introduces a global dark mode for GTK4 / libadwaita applications, improves compatibility with Flatpak applications, supports various new theme colors, and speeds up the Nemo file manager etc.

The Linux Mint 21.2 release also greatly improves the login manager with better keyboard navigation, support for Wayland sessions, support for LXQt/Pademelon badges, configurable layouts for the on-board on-screen keyboard, scrollable session lists, and more.
