I had this prodecure done 4 days ago. The only advice I can give you is to not believe everything you see on the internet, each body is different! I was terrified of this procedure thanks to the negative comments I saw on the internet and it turned out to be the opposite. I didn't feel a single percent of pain after the procedure. I felt instant relief! The only annoying thing is the stent... but that's about it! Just pray and leave everything in God's hands and everything will turn out great!

Had the procedure done today, 2 CM stone, in hospital at 8:30 am out at 1 pm. Vomited when I got home and minor discomfort when peeing. Will report back in a few days. It is 9 pm now and I feel pretty normal.

i had this procedure on 3-11-24. I was scared !! but there's nothing to worry about... i got severe headache for 3 days bcoz of the spinal anesthesia..had difficulty peeing and walking for 3 days and i had vomited too was not able to eat anything...was on liquid diet. just wanted to let u knw recovering and healing take time! ❤

Did it today sitting in a tub of warm water. It was a double stent. Pulled one out at a time. No pain No blood. Freaked myself out for nothing.

I had this surgery done with my right ureture where I had a 5mm stone partially blocking the drainage from my right kidney to the bladder. So the surgeon lazered it and a much larger 8mm stone stuck in the lower pole of my right kidney. Both stones were broken up successfully, and they put in a stint in my right ureter for drainage. I was discharged from the hospital the same day. Almost a week past then they brought me back to remove the stint, which was the most uncomfortable part of the whole procedure. Recovered for another 5 days before returning to work. Feel so much better!

On Aug 28, I had URS to remove a 4mm x 3mm stone that was stuck in my left ureter above the bladder. There's another 2mm stone in the lower left kidney - doc said he could get it (he couldn't) - he got the 4mm stone, though. I went back on Aug 2 to get the stent removed. It's Aug 6 now and this might be the 1st day that I am getting close to back to normal. I'll tell you about the whole experience in the replies below.

This is my second procedure and it feels the best but still even when it feels better I still feel side effects, I will be glad I am over with this bcz it s just annoying. I cannot work with this or have like decent normal life with it bcz the stone still inside also feel like pissing all the time in first procedure, now the second time I feel less urgent to pee all the time. Sure first week of first procedure pissing hurted a lot and I pissed pure blood ike 5 days straight... After that I had three weeks of going toilet all the time till I get crazy from it... Second time they did a procedure they had to put in stent in again bcz they couldn t remove the stones... Second time I not felt the need to pee all the time but still got lot of side effect and now after a week I start to feel I have to pee again more then after the second procedure... Still feel pain in the flanks and some other side effects .... I will be happy I am over this taking too long for my taste...

I was able to pee OK and had no pain from my stone. After the surgery I had a lot of pain from the stent and was unable to pee. Why did I et them do this to me?

my kidney stone of 4mm from left side flush out naturally by drinking plenty of water and liquids.
