I've had 3 kidney and bladder surgeries to remove stones. Now when I pee it comes out in a spray in different directions..not straight out. I have to pee in a jug. My urologist went inside of my penis and did a kind of mini surgery in her office. Worked great for a couple of weeks but now it's coming back. What could be wrong? Scar tissue from the surgeries maybe? It will probable get so bad that I'll have to go to the ER as I will not be able to pee a drop. I believe the surgeries did me in with a stent. I have an enlarged prostate but was able to pee just fine before the surgeries.

I had pan urethral stricture cause of BXO. Last month I had operation called BMG Urethroplasty (Kulkarni technique) as doctor said. Two weeks before the catheter was removed. But still the whole urethra is feeling like hard. The urine comes out like spray. Is it normal??? and how many days will it take to become normal??

It happened to me years ago unable to pee while being at work, left and went to emergency room.They tried to open the urethra using a large plastic opener which didn’t went in and advised me to go and see my urologist.Went to his office but had to see a younger doctor.
He use a small shaped urethra opener without lubrication on it and recommended to use it in need.When my regular doctor came back from vacation he gave me a tube with lubricants that I have to use on opener before inserting inside urethra. I’m still using it once in a while and can empty the bladder when needed.

I had bladder stone and kidney removal surgery about 4 weeks ago. Came home from the 5 day hospital stay and was able to pee OK. But 3 days later I started getting a split pee direction. It got worse until I could no longer pee and my penis swelled up like a balloon and hurt like crazy. It slowly leaked out all over my pant's underwear and shoes and socks. I immediately went to the ER. They had me walk around the hospital for quite a distance. Gave me a jug to try to pee in and to my surprise I was able to with a solid stream. Came home and things seemed to be OK but slowly the split stream came back I had no trouble peeing before the surgery at all. I think it was because the nurse that took out my catheter and stent yanked it out real fast maybe doing some damage to the inside of the tip of my penis because that's where it hurts when peeing now. My stream now is a spray that shoots out about 6 feet like a kids squirt gun. It's getting harder to pee as the days go by. Anyone ever had this problem?

You are being pretty flippant about this surgery. And why the heck was the guy smiling about the possible complications? Clearly, you've never really spoken to someone who has had both short and long term complications after being repeatedly assured (like your video) that this surgery isn't really a big deal. You are doing a disservice to men who are considering a urethroplasty. It is painful, and depending upon the type of procedure used, can lead to long term or permanent dysfunction. Wanna know what it's like? Volunteer to have one for fun since you seem to make it appear like no big deal. This is pitiful.
