Last Epoch season 2 launches tomorrow, and I will be live trying it out. Here is a breakdown of the two games and what may interest you.

Being able to craft items with modifiers you want instead of it being completely rng? Imagine that.

Didn't even mention the CoF/Trade factions! Another HUGE selling point. IMO LE crafting and trading/SSF system is S tier.

I played this last year for 40h
Just re-opened their Discord for the first time since, there are Devs literally answering build questions & anything people ask with like a 2min response time. Insane how good this team @EHG is.
Not to mention - controller hotswap works, WASD works, offline mode, loot works, campaign is actually fun and so much else.
Really impressed on their level up.

I have over 2000 hours into LE, $35 for this game and not having to spend another dime is an absolute steal. My greatest investment into early access ever.

LE has the best crafting system in any arpg and I will die on that hill

Played it blindly last week. No guides or builds or videos.

Had massive fun and it was easy to figure out how things work.

I'm an old man and just getting into ARPG's for the first time. The analysis Mr. Transaction provides is always very helpful for a guy like me. No unnecessary drama or clickbaity content, and he doesn't assume his audience already knows everything he's saying. And I still giggle at "walletcore" 🤣

Now BRING LE to PS5, PLEASE!!!

Best part is that they don’t skimp on QoL features!

The Last Epoch marketing team was extremely smart getting you to review them.

Path of Exile 2 is a full time job. Last Epoch is like going to the beach with all your friends.

Playing PoE2 greatly elevated my appreciation for all the player-friendly conveniences and usability polishes that have already been in Last Epoch. Everything you need to get going and start having fun is so effectively explained and conveyed inside the game. The multiple layers of tooltips, UI/UX, options, and in-game guide are so smooth and so nice.

For example: if you want move speed on boots, you can just put move speed shards on boots. You have access to the Forge menu at all times. Use the Forge to scrap boots with move speed (that you can highlight and colorize with your in-game loot filter) -> you get move speed affix shards. Yes, you can scrap items while in the field if your huge inventory gets clogged. Then those shards automatically go to a separate, dedicated stash. Then while in the field, you can add move speed to your boots if you have an open suffix slot, or upgrade your existing move speed tier. No risk of accidentally removing a good affix while trying to roll for move speed either.

You are overflowing with crafting materials and can constantly try to actually build and upgrade items - not just gamba for them and gamba for their affixes if you are rich. You can actually *do* things to progress your character and build other than playing the waiting game hoping for godly drops or paying traders to win.

- Last Epoch: The game I play when I want to just kickback and have the instant ARPG power fantasy. Good fun!
- PoE: The long-term ARPG that I'll come back to for years.. more hardcore and the challenge comes from cooking your own build each season.
- D4: The game I play when I have literally nothing else to play....

For me - the best thing about LE is that I feel it respects my time more than any other RPG. Whether I play for 30 min or 10 hours, I know I’m going to get fun loot (and lots of it), I’m not going to have to fight against friction systems, and whether my idea of a build has a guide on it or not, I know if I learn the systems that I’m going to have a good time and progress.

Oh, and easily the best crafting system of any ARPG.

I think a lot of people dont give LE a fair shot. Items are way more important than just increased phys damage /resistances/ attack speed." And your items matter more because most of the build isnt in a passive tree. Skills are actually interesting with skill trees, build variety is amazing, uniques are AWESOME and GAME CHANGING. And of course the crafting is the best we've ever seen. Its easy to learn but has great depth. Goat Arpg to ME.

I think the LE developers and the content creators covering the LE patch are underlighting how much they improved visually. Not only are there a lot of new visuals in terms of textures, lighting and shader improvements. If you compare the animations with the release of the game you will see significant improvements. It looks and FEELS so much better than it did before.

I’ve been playing last epoch since it was in beta and it’s come along ways $35 for this game is a steal imo.
