It's not always obvious whether an abstract photo should be hung vertically or horizontally. MoMA curator Sarah Meister and master framer Peter Perez analyze several photographs by Brazilian artist Gertrudes Altschul to determine how they should be oriented for the upcoming exhibition “Making Space: Women Artists and Postwar Abstraction.”

This is really interesting :-) how to look at art, how the perception of it can differ from person to person. And how we can totally change the meaning of it, intentionally or unintentionally, by hanging it upside down.
