I’ve always considered having a cat a semi symbiotic relationship. I feed, home and water the cat, in return the cat keeps mice and bugs away and provides company, and so two way love isn’t necessary; however my cat Broski is such a strange cat with such a strange personality that I am almost 100 sure he feels some sort of attachment to me. He’s actually aggressively protected me from a neighbors dog, thinking the overly excited puppy was attacking me. Strangest cat I’ve ever had but he’s my boy.

They have personalities as unique as humans. It always depends on the specific cat. I have a cat that never leaves my side and goes everywhere I go. I go to bed she goes to bed. I get up she gets up. I go for a walk she goes for a walk. She’s my best friend.
