This is the last clip shown at the end of Gravity Falls, Season 1. It was a real plot twist, really. I was sitting there with my jaw dropped while first watching it. And the music, oh man, way too epic! Here it is, the shocking ending, in full HD quality!

All copyright belongs to Disney, Alex Hirsch, and everyone else who helped put together this amazing show!

"After all these years. Finally, I have them all"
That gave me chills

Something I’d like to point out that Stan doesn’t get enough credit for, in order to successfully repair and operate a machine like this Stan probably had to spend most of those 30 years having to learn advanced science, mathematics, and engineering all on his own without a college education, and he wasn’t even a good student beforehand. Think about that

"Here we go" that line was perfection.

The best and most unnerving thing about this is that he doesn't break out into a maniacal laughter at any point.

The fact he has a recent picture of Mabel and Dipper from the same summer shows how he CONSTANTLY goes down to this place and tries to redeem himself. It's not a side-mission for him, it's HIS mission.

Also the song gives me chills and feels like there is no tomorrow.

its just crazy to think, that when they first showed stan going into the vending machine in the pilot episode, that all this intricate plot had already been planned

The insane realization that Stan was more than just your average everyday con artist was so cool, it actually gave me goosebumps

1:00 That "it's working!" gives me chills every time. After probably thousands of times Stan tried to activate the portal, for 30 long years, he finally got to do it, and immediatly runs to push the lever, in order to bring his brother back.

I love how seriously the season ended. It went from light hearted laughter to a deep mystery

I love how the emblem that got burnt into his shoulder is there next to the control panel.

Just finished the first season and WOW I am speechless. I can’t believe I missed out on this show when it aired on Television. So glad I blind bought this series when it came out on Blu-Ray. A lot of kids and friends my age recommended this show to me over the years and they were right. Right down to this chills-to-the-bone Season One Finale, I’m now convinced this show is more than just your usual gags and laughs. Heck I got that vibe when watching “The Land Before Swine”, which it took itself more seriously than the episodes before it, leading up to this epic finale.

Him being the one that had journal 1 was crazy. Especially since we had wondered for the entire 1st season.

"What would a boring old man like Stan want with the journal anyways?"

The code in the description of the video says:
If you decoded this, well, I don't know what to say...

Oh oh, it was surely a major plot twist of mah life.
Not the "author's identity", wich was good itself and there were some awesome hints Like Bill's reaction to name <Stan> when he appeared for the first time for Gideon.

But what made go "Oh shiet" while watchin it with some junk food by my side, was that "Gruncle Stan", an old and silly, greedy and goofy hack was dealing with such machinery in a DAMN-SECRET-LAIR.

Does anyone else remember seeing this at the end of season one and the immediately having a minor breakdown knowing we wouldn’t get any follow up answers until season 2 came out?
