Python is already the goat tho. Even in robotics where most people are so used to C or C++, in the last few years a lot of engineers switched to python and the libraries are being rewritten, slowly but surely.

That's impressive! That would make Python about half as fast as Go. But I'm still sad, that LUA isn't used more. It's crazy fast and has simple syntax like Python.

i really like python but i stopped using it and went for c++ and javascript because of how slow it is.

Python is 6 times slower than C right now, so doing a x5 will just let it at a 20% slower, that is a wild improvement

There’s a new python superset called mojo thays in development (kind of like typescript for js) and it enables pipelining and a bunch of other stuff and can make python code run between 100-35k x faster 😁
