The more religious beliefs are pushed on a society that values freedom, the more those religious beliefs will decline. If belief in a deity that is unseen and unheard is declining, that means peoples are waking up to reality. And the freer and more independent that society will be.

He's right. But again, he's not specific enough. It's not generic, "religion", and "God." It's Jesus Christ. And it's not just "belief in." The Bible says even the demons believe, and they tremble. (James 2:9)

It is submitting to Jesus Christ as Lord, which He is. THAT is what people reject.
