My son lost his life two months ago he was 24 years old. He lived like everyday was his last. He was very wise for his age. He always spoke about what this song talks about. I was asking him for a sign to show me if he can hear me? This song hardly ever plays on the radio and after he passed I've heard this song over 10 times. I know it's him connecting with me. I was 6 years old when this song came out and I remember it well hearing it on the radio while riding in the car with my family. I was so innocent with no anxieties or established beliefs. I enjoyed living day by day and not worrying about the future and the only thing I worried about was homework. This song popped into my head today and after hearing it again as an adult and frustrated with today’s drama in the media and politics I stopped worrying about my adult concerns for a minute. I thought about the good times I had with my family that summer this song was popular and I thought about the time I took out of my busy schedule this year so far and spent with my family, friends, and boyfriend. I haven’t lost faith in the people I love.
