Sun University: BS/OS Tutorial: Part 1 - Prepping Mod Before Porting

Hello students and welcome to class! I will be your teacher so please call me Miss Sun.

In this part 1 course we will go over how to prep the outfit from Skyrim LE to be used in Skyrim SE. This step is essential before we begin the porting process. Here's a quick break down of the process:

1. Download your Skyrim LE outfit
2. Unzip manually unzip the file onto an easy access location
3. Rename the mod (optional)
4. Use Nif Optimizer to optimize the meshes
5. Use Nif Optimizer to check if textures are okay
6. Repack the folder into a zip
7. Install our new zip with any mod manager of choice

Part 2 will begin the actual porting process of editing the outfit!
