“No one would pick up a Bible and come that conclusion” is pretty rich coming from a Baptist. They think “baptism now saves you” means that baptism doesn’t save you, and that “there is one baptism” means there is baptism of water separate from the Spirit. Perspicuity of scripture, until you read about the sacraments!

It would be interesting to hear where Dr. Thomas said that about the conscience, to which Dr. Lawson refers at around 2:15. In his own confession of faith (WCF), Chapter 1, pt. 10, is said, "The Supreme Judge, by which all controversies of religion are to be determined, and all decrees of councils, opinions of ancient writers, doctrines of men, and private spirits, are to be examined, and in whose sentence we are to rest, can be no other but the Holy Spirit speaking in the Scripture." Not one's conscience.
In fact, Holy Scripture does not dictate a mode of baptism, as many like to claim it does. Nor does it say that the Sacrament of Holy Baptism (and it is a Sacrament, a mysterious but clear means by which God bestows His saving grace upon sinners) is only for one who has professed belief, but it is for their children also. In #Baptism, the baby or child or adult is buried with Christ, not symbolically, but truly.

Commanded by Christ
2. Great Commission
Matt 28:18-20
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

II. Church age:

1. The first recorded Gospel Sermon:
Acts 2:37‭-‬38
Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

2. The Samaritans conversion.
Acts 8:12
But when they believed Philip as he preached good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

III. Individual conversions
1 . Simons Conversion
Acts 8:13
Simon
himself believed, and after being baptized he continued with Philip. And seeing signs and great miracles performed, he was amazed.

2. . The conversion of the Eunich
Acts 8:36‭, ‬38‭-‬39
And as they were going along the road they came to some water, and the eunuch said, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” And he commanded the chariot to stop, and they both went down into the water, Philip and the eunuch, and he baptized him. And when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing.

3. Paul's Conversion
Acts 9:18
And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized;
Recount of his conversion
Acts 22:16 And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.’

4. Cornelius Converted
Acts 10:48
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to remain for some days.

5. Lydia Converted
Acts 16:15
And after she was baptized, and her household as well, she urged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” And she prevailed upon us.

IV. Other Churches
1. The Corinthians
Acts 18:8
Crispus, the ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord, together with his entire household. And many of the Corinthians hearing Paul believed and were baptized.

2. At Ephesus
Acts 19:5
On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

3. Paul recounts this conversion.
Acts 22:16
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on his name.
Acts 22:16 ASV

V. Baptism explained in Epistles:
1. Puts us in Christ
Galatians 3:27
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

2. Burried with Him.
Romans 6: 3-4
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

3. Saves us
I Peter 3:21
Baptism, which corresponds to this, now saves you, not as a removal of dirt from the body but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

A first century Jew would of theoretically picked up his New Testament and immediately baptized his children. It’s by reading the NT without the lenses of a first century covenant keeping Jew that we come up with excluding children from the sign of the covenant.

According to Bible, is Baptism required? - Yes.
According to Bible, is Infant baptism required? - No.

If infant baptism is not required, then it is insignificant.
