I would like to see you (or anyone else from this channel) create a video on how to sketch more freely. Not in the sense of more energy but in the sense of creating sketches without being concerned for the end product.

Sometimes you just have to realize not every piece has to be perfect and polished. I developed two artstyles for my digital art - one fully rendered, no lineart, detailed and the other - messy lineart, less details and less rendering. I use the second one when i want to practice some stuff or just draw something that i dont have to get super invested in or anxious that its not perfect. The 1st one can take me a month per a drawing (i can only draw during weekends) and the other one only few hours or two days, I can use it even at school days when i have much less time

I may never be on the level of a pro artist, but at least I can draw whatever my soul desires, however long and tedious as I feel like. That's something worth more than all the money and recognition.

Live by this. I love working but I love working fast. I do a portrait per song for exercises in the morning. 3-5 mins tops

Yes, but it's worth mentioning that artists like Rodin didn't do it with the purpose of making more money faster, but to challenge the back then status quo of the art institution, that before modernism approved only "polished" finished works in the style of academism which was there to serve the rich only, portray only the rich and influential or mythological creatures, while the everyday people were left out. All those smooth brush strokes of academism served like some beauty filters we have today, but only to idolize the rich. Modern artists basically rebelled against that class division ideology that was promoted through art institution. Also, Rodin leaves visible marks of the material itself on his sculptures too, making them look like "unfinished" artworks, because artists start to thematize the medium itself for the first time in art history. The medium itself becomes the subject of the artwork in modernism which is why modernists leave visible marks and textures of the medium, creating "unpolished" artwork on purpose, rather than polishing it to perfection. This is how abstract art later develops -by thematizing the medium itself.
