Bruh... I'm currently making a proposal for my graduation thesis college next year, and I'm choose a movie as a Material Object...unlike novel, a movie as Material Object needs to put cinematography technique in the thesis and this, yours, your video, it is really Helpful, ...
Thank you Bruh...

I can see this technique working after a dark event in the story, something tragic could have happened and the character is seen in silence eating cereal then they start crying at the end of the scene

I wish more people did these scenes. They can be so good when they work, but at the same time so bad when they don’t.

This is actual perfectly for a project I have planned. The sad thing is it wont be till like 2027 when its released. But this is perfect for a scene.

Dang wasn't expecting something that hits with heavy mental health content. It might be beneficial to pin a warning for watchers with eating disorders/those who know people with one.

As innocuous as it might seem for most folks, it can be a rough short tp come across for those who know someone with eating disorders.

For those who don't know he's describing a scene of someone with a binge eating disorder which often stems from some complex childhood developmental trauma (like growing up with neglect or emtional/verbal abuse from an alcoholic parent).

In the chance someone's looking for support: there are eating disorder/food addict support groups out there like 12 Step programs and Dharmic Recovery, which are usually free and can be a way to create a support network with others working towards healthier recovery, and some groups even have meetings just for supporting the partners in the process.

Even in this short that shot seemed boring and stupid lol. But good concept. I like this for action scenes. Shoot wider and let it play out if you got good players

No, I refuse to watch a 10 minute scene of a character eating. No matter how artistic or whatever the bloody hell it is. It's preposterous.

The fact that some people complained about the scene being boring and hard to watch is a proof that the concept works. The scene is supposed to be uncomfortable and the audience is supposed to share the suffering of the character. It's as if the scene is not trying to tell a story, but to force the audience into living the moment with the character.
