Very good video with actionable advice. Summary below but encouraging everyone to watch to get the most out of the advice given:

1. Find your ending first
2. Show, don't tell
3. Your film needs to have a question
4. Show the physical journey and the emotional journey of your character
5. Find out what makes your character unique

Wonderful video...*Storytelling*...a challenge indeed 🌎 I became a writer at age 61 in Bogotá, Colombia. It has been my way to overcome adversity, reencounter with myself, protest elegantly and reach out the World. Thanks. The Venezuelan immigrant writer 🇻🇪

In my continue search for acceptance you just gave me a massage amount of reassurance. When I write I usually will write the last sentence first. I always thought "You just do things the hard way", so to hear someone I respect so much give this advice is a massive boost of confidence. Much love and positive vibes.

Love it Mark. In the same way that you say "a character with no flaws isn't interesting", I'd love to hear you discuss what things you could have done better in your past films. I want to learn from your mistakes just as much as your successes!

Just found you thru your collab with PM ~ couldn’t be more grateful. Love the attitude of giving that you have to your audience. You don’t hold back the quality of what can make a solid video/film. Thank you for basically being a Jedi to the filmmakers you serve.

I've been thinking of doing film school for nearly a year now. The first few months I couldn't stop thinking about film school. I found your channel, and you inspire me. In the next few weeks I should find out if I've been accepted into film school, and after almost a year I feel that I have purpose and control over my life again.

These are spot on - I’ve been editing for a number of years - but it’s Always good to remind yourself of why your editing a certain way. I find after a while I get redundant and automatic with my edits - partially because I’m always under a deadline. These are exactly the tips I needed to refresh and reset my mind. Thanks Mark!

A while back you switched up the way you make videos. since then you really started to glow and I enjoyed watching your videos more. It's better to see people being natural and themselves rather than trying too hard to be something they're not in order to go with the trends. However, i think its hard to start without doing it because you need a launch to start getting an audience before your transition like yours. I'm glad you're in a position where you can focus mostly on passion. I've learned a lot from your videos so thank you. Currently waiting for my gear and start my own journey full force. Gotta own this summer! Love from Ireland, keep creating.

Thank you for these tips! I like the way you displayed your own "show not tell" tip in this short video by taking us along to your appointments - to SHOW us how busy you were and not just telling us you had a time crunch to edit and complete the movie in three days. Well done! Cute elevator music audio too 🤭
