Could My Neck Lump Be Cancer Such as Lymphoma?

Having a lump in the neck can cause a great deal of anxiety especially if you have family history of cancer, previous cancer or you're just aware that a neck lump can present as symptoms of cancer.
Most cancers can present with neck lumps which are enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, but the most common cancer is lymphoma.
Symptoms of lymphoma include
swollen lymph glands in the neck, armpit or groin
fatigue
shortness of breath
anaemia
abdominal pain
fever
night sweats
weight loss
Blood tests such as raised white cell count can be signs but blood tests can also be normal, so the most accurate diagnosis is biopsy of the lymph node.
The most common lymphoma is non-hodgkins lymphoma which makes up 90% of lymphomas while hodgkins lymphoma make up just 10%.
Non-Hodgkins lymphoma has 2 types - High grade and low grade NHL.
High-grade lymphoma is aggressive and curable while low-grade is slow-growing and more of a watch and wait approach.

If you have a lymph node present for more than 6 weeks, then make sure you see a doctor and even if it is for less than 6 weeks, still see a doctor, as your neck lump could be cancer.

Have all the symptoms but they not listing to me, i go for my third ldh blood test on Monday as they keep coming back haemolysed, my skin is a right mess from scars from the rash and itching, my hair started to fall out as my head was itching so much, don't know what to do anymore

I have throbbing sometimes right jugular.area ..and aches right side ..somtimes ..little nose bleed right dide loss of earing right side .😢been to doctors in langleypark durham..hard work ..all i want is a miri scan ..am suffering pain on night.for a year..i took out a private health cover they wont referr me am done for .😢

Hello Dr.
I have a small movable pea size ball on the lower left side of neck. It has been the same size for over a year. My Dr says it a lymph node we have many on our neck. Not sure if i should be more persistent on a scan. Again same size over a year and no other symptom..
What do you think? Is a normal lymph node the size of a pea?

im a 20 year old girl, i have a persistent lymph node on the left side of my neck in the dip between where the shoulder starts to where it meets the neck. i have had it for 6 months i have had two blood tests the first i needed a white cell count retested and then that came back 'satisfactory'. my clothes are drenched when i wake up (not every night) my skin is itchy, i have severe heavy periods, and im extremely tired all the time. my doctor just says its a lymph node but it has never gone away?

I’ve got a pea sized painless bump at the back of my neck where the spine starts and it has been there for several weeks. I’m prone to getting pimples acne and cysts all over my body but this one particular is painless as the rest of them are all painful and do go away relatively quick. Please advise if mines a medical concern ?

Hi doctor i have The bean-sized node in the neck that is palpable is moving and rubbery, the morphology is good and the ultrasound shows non-pathological cervical and axillary lymph nodes up to 15x5mm with a visible cavity, should I be worried?

I've had itchiness, fatigue, disbalance, vertigo, shortness of breath, and feeling of low-grade fever for over a year now. I have gotten my enlarged lymph nodes in my cervical region scanned via an ultrasound and the doctors claimed they were "benign reactive nodes". They are still enlarged, but I am a little relieved that they seem to be benign. I noticed a lump on the back side of my neck, near my base of the skull, on the left hand-side. It is moveable and kind of feels like a very large muscle knot. Could it be another swollen lymph node? It is very close to the spinal cord and I'm not sure if there are any lymph nodes in that area. At first I thought it was a muscle knot. Thanks!

I have few ozing lymp nodes in my groin and they do not go away
Even tho i have had antibiotics 3 times
Its so hard to walk with them and wear pants hurts to
My gp isnt paying much attention to it
I now have a large painful lump on the back of my neck on the right side which hurts my ear and my jaw too

I havent had a day since last 4 years without a lymp node swollen or ozing
Sometimes new ones appear nd some go down on there own some are larger then a tennis ball and hurt like hell

Hi doctor .. my lymph nodes swollen for nearly 4 months in neck its painless, movable squishy. I think it started from infection which i got nearly 4 months ago with ulcer in my tongue and tonsil areas with fever and body pain that time that lynph node was big and cleared up when infection went but i m not sure this much small size left in that areas and its small pea shaped and i think so recently very small lymph node swelled behind it which is very small i also have GERD problem and i get lot of ulcers in my mouth
