Today I bring a strong exortation about mold in the house and how it can impact your mental and physical health. It is an issue that has impacted my own health and it is something we all need to be aware of.

Many adults are realizing they were raised by addicts and are seeing the detrimental impact it has on their life. In this broadcast, I address a question from an adult child of an addict about setting boundaries. I also respond to someone who went through the Teen Challenge program and is struggling with how to process the past.

I address questions about intrusive thoughts and the subject of evil thoughts talked about in Mark 7 21-23.

MARK! excellent job responding to the individual about their mold issue! im a bit shocked that you are educated on this subject because not many are! i unfortunately have a mold illness called CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) and its the worst thing anyone can have because like the person who wrote into your broadcast has stated in can produce the most awful symptoms! and yes that bible passage from levitucus is talking about the same type of mold that we have today, that is why it describes how to properly remediate it which is by removing it! you dont use bleach or try to clean it, it has to be removed. with CIRS there is a genetic component where 25% of the population has a defect and cant detox mold from our bodies like we should be able to so you end up getting extremely sicker than the avg person from mold. my whole life has been debilitated from being sick for many years with CIRS and not knowing why my health got so bad! i have a long way to go until i can recover and have a normal life again... ive been nothing short of being extremely traumatized by this ordeal and because of how damaged my brain and body is i struggle with having clarity of thought about this difficult season of life and often feel very abandoned by God because of my circumstances. i know that i will eventually bounce back according to my doctor but ive lost so much for being sick for nearly a decade now and i struggle with the grief of trying to start over from scratch and also wondering how much functionality i will regain from being so debilitated after all these years. its been one trauma after another for a very long time and while i feel God is restoring me slowly it seems i struggle lately with trusting his goodness for my life. like a ton of bad things have happened to me last 8-9 years and i just want it to end so badly! like why has God allowed me to suffer so insanely? i dont often feel loved and protected... just hurt and abandoned smh

I'm always so grateful for y'all and your ministry. I'm an adult child of addicts and it's been such a weight to wanna fix my mom and step dad, to have that yearning of wanting that heart connection with them, yearning for them to become the healthy parents I desire deep down, but needing to set boundaries and have distance, feeling guilt, wanting to be a fixer and people pleaser, etc. God used you to expose those yokes that I've been carrying all my life and never understood why until now. I am so so so overwhelmed with gratitude 😭❤ so many are being set free because of y'all yielding and treading the path before us, and I am forever thankful for the freedom I've been able to experience in my life by the spirit through y'all. Tysm!!!!
