GUYS GYUS ID DID MY FIRST PULLUP TODAY

2024 11 march: a few of you have been asking for a update so imma just say where i am just getting all the lore out there. 9 months ago i did my first pullup on my stairs yes I was litteraly doing pullups under my living room stairs togheter with some at home weightlifting and after the rugby season started i kinda stopped having time for weightlifting. I have bulked a tremendous amount too ever since that first pullup and when I tryed a pull up this time on a real bar i unfortunately only made it halfway up but hey atleast i increased my max bench and curl. I am honestly a bit sad that all my hardwork in my past year didnt make me nearly as muscular as a few of those people on media be doing in one month but I guess thats just my body dysmorphia speaking. and I am still rather young which could explain my slow musclegrowth but no matter how slow we are all going to make it

Holy 💩!!! I can't do a pull up. But I've been working on my hang. I did what you said and did it!! I can now hold all my weight for 10sec! Tomorrow 20 sec! ❤❤thank u

Doing the pull-ups with a curved back is what I was missing. I was using Pretty much all my arm strength and not engaging the back. Tried a few negative pull-ups to put strain on the back and I saw my lats grow in literally two weeks.

И так и так можно. Просто распределение нагрузки на мышцы разное. Это относится ко многим упражнениям. Я сейчас учу Горизонт. И для этого надо отжиматься с накатом без сведения лопаток. ( ну минимизировать на них нагрузку ) и спину горбом. И это не стандартно и 99% тренеров скажут ты что, это неправильно 😂

So the first pull up was arch (terrible form) and second was hollow body (with good form), both are good depending on good form though. Arch pull ups are supposedly better for all round upper back gains and harder for newbies, whereas hollow body can help hit lats on their own due to the lengthening the lats experiance when in the hollow position and is more advantageous if wanting to train for muscle up etc.

Even with the pull ups I can feel my quads, so engaging core is good

That and either hang your feet and cross them to keep your core tight and control the movement or keep your feet forward and you’ll see the control will still be better
