I built my home in Mexico 35 years ago and after wetting my cement blocks I used the same air gun that used to spray a textured ceiling to spray stucco directly on the block . It’s been this long and my outside walls here in this area of Baja California Mexico is still in great condition.😊

These guys are good, I’ve been doing stucco since 1992 and now days no one wets the block first with is “very important” and yes it’s ok to use a go devil on block but not lath, and that’s exactly right, it’s all about moisture and layers not one shot, THE ROD is the only way to do smooth or float finishes and see how he finishes it side ways?! that is knowledge...Great job!!!

I am did same like this plaster when I am doing I feeling so much enjoying, , I will tell you for drying issue use a brush and throw some water on face plaster before shaping... Also sometimes I want to do plaster some kind of mans after making hammering on his face, ,
