"What the Hell was that??"

I love how even Geralt has no clue what the Caretaker was.

The only thing i didnt like about the Witcher 3 is that the lubberkin looks exactly like the botchling. It would have been so good to see the poor baby turn back into human, or at least her spirit could have had a more friendly look.

Once a leshen glitched out and started following me everywhere in velen/novigrad and it was 20 levels above me. Needless to say i never took the two leshen contracts latter on in the game

I’m so glad The Caretaker was out at #1. The first time I ever saw him my blood went cold. It’s the most unexpected thing and I scared the shit out of me.

I loved the hym in the witcher. The fact that we only encounter one in the entire game makes them that much more special. This entire quest had me really creeped out, with the shadow lurking around every corner. Absolutely incredible...

It's sad but one of the scariest moments I had was in skelliga. Boating out into the middle of the sea and *spishhhaa* a fucking whale is swimming next to you. Did not expect that. I love this game

When I met the crones for the first time is when I realized I was playing a truly special game in witcher 3, from the character design, to the voices, the painting and alter and the way they hit on geralt and cannibalistic, the swamp children, and how it ties into the bloody Barron quest story twist, even the music, I only wish it were a longer storyline....I don't see how they were topped by anything

The one who creeped me out is Kiyan, mutilated and insane witcher who guards Feline Witcher Armor recipes.
When I came into the room and saw a strange shadowy figure meditating and mumbling, then it slowly stood up and slowly walked to me, drawing its sword.

Geralt: So why does Time fascinate you so much?

G.O.D: Geralt, there are 4 Dimensions, height, lenght, width and time. What shall i be most interessed in, width?

honestly the isle of fyke tower and the haunted house quest in Novigrad were the scariest in the whole game, especially with the creaking sounds and horror movie like ambience

I always thought that mansion with the Hym in skellige was the freakest environment in the whole game and DLC.... From the very first time I walked up to it until my second playthrough knowing what happens, i was still crepped out majorly by how dark and ominous the house is, especially inside, with all that black goop dripping everywhere. Not to mention using witcher senses makes everything instantly scarier because of the intensified sound design.

I'm very happy you picked The Caretaker as #1! That fight was amazing, and it freaked me out, I don't think I've been more scared throughout the Witcher 3. The atmosphere was perfect, it was mysterious, probably my favorite "boss encounter" from a video game ever. I really have to play through this game again, god I miss it.

Honorable mention for me, Foglets. Something about them being in fog, me not knowing where they are freaks me out, I avoid them to this day if possible.

I remember being completely blown away by this game in every aspect from start to finish. Then Heart Of Stone came out and the entire storyline was so haunting and tragic. I think I could retell the entire DLC from start to finish without looking anything up. It was that memorable and engaging. The Caretaker is no exception to that. He was almost as shocking as Olgeird's immortality. I don't know how you narrowed this list down so well. Can't wait to see more Witcher videos from you guys. Incredible work once again!

Idk, the crones always sent shivers down my spine... The music, their voices make for an equation of true horror

O'Dimm is super creepy and the fact that he stalks you in the background so many times is just insane.

1 minor point of criticism; when you go to the next monster, at least leave some pause inbetween or add a title or number on the screen. As it is, I was still thinking you were describing the Botchling when mentioning the Land of Fables before realising you had started talking about the next monster, rather than closing up on Botchlings and Lubberkins.

Gear obsolescence is the scariest thing in a Witcher game.
