How to check and upgrade firmware version on Swann DVR

To check the version of your firmware:

Select “Setup”.

Then, select the “System” menu

Now, select the “Information” tab

Then you’ll see your current firmware listed under the heading “Software Version”.

To upgrade to the latest firmware, go to the Advanced tab, click on the Auto Upgrade tab and then click Check Now.

To upgrade to the latest firmware:

Ensure the recorder is connected to the internet.

Then, select the “Advanced” tab.

Now, select “Auto-Upgrade”.

Then, select “Check Now”

The recorder will check Swann’s database for new firmware.

If there is new firmware available, it will automatically install it.

Once the new firmware is installed, the recorder will reboot, and the installation will complete.

Your recorder is now updated to the newest firmware available.
