for now i’m on 17.7, i’m not hyped on 18 because actually there’s no really changed at all aside with AI that’s only available on 15 pro to a newer i had 14 pro max so i’ll stick for now on 17

Installed 18 and downgraded back to 17.7 an hour later. Not a fan of the new menu order and the round control centre buttons. After installing ios 18 at first, my battery health dropped from 97 to 94% and this has not changed back after downgrading back to 17.7 (I don’t care too much, but worth to mention)

I would strongly advice that you keep an eye on these updates, they are all labeled as “security” and words has been going around lately that 🍎 has been selling their user’s private information to companies, very sketchy.

ill stay on 17.7 because if i update on ios 18, it will drain my battery while updating

Honestly the only reason why I upgraded to IOS 18 was because of the new features for the second hand parts, I recently changed my screen and have been having this weird problem where the touch suddenly stops working and I have to lock and unlock the phone in order to work again. So far everything seems to be working fine, but I would rather have stayed on IOS 17.

my xs max is slowly fried while tried the 18 RC.. like seriously.. the heat issue, battery draining so fast, legacy widget gone, lagging performance issue (because the heat.. if you know what i mean, you know)

i just thought the specifications seems not suitable for a12 bionic..

then.. i flash it.

and i install this 17.7 RC..
boom.. damn.. this is so different.. every app run seems smooth with cool temperature (except game.. cuz i not use this phone for gaming)… not have lag issue like before, and not draining the battery.. Very suitable for my "old device"..

yeah i stay in this version and never upgrade it to 18.. until it works perfect like this one..

I prefer to be in iOS 17.7 because I have an iPhone SE 2nd generation, I think if I update it to iOS 18 it would work badly

iPhone 11 is a great phone. Everyone complaining how is drains your battery. But for me I only got mine 3 months ago and it’s great so far no battery drain as fast as other people say it. As long as you don’t use it won’t drain your battery. 17.7 is just bug fixes. I’ll think I am definitely going to the iOS 18 is a great feature. You get two updates which is sick tbh never seen that happen! plus I can manage my battery so I am good unlike some pedestrians
