You know this is an amazing Beta when it works better than the latest official release of iOS 16. This has been the smoothest beta of any iOS that I can remember. Even the battery life is great

BTW, standby mode works on Lightning as well. It just needs to be stationary and put in landscape.

The screen idle battery drain 15:46 comes from mail. if you setup all accounts new, the idle drain 'll disappear.

There is one feature you haven't talked about. If you go to photos. Open any photo, swipe up and wait. In a few seconds it will auto select the subjects. Click on them and you can cut them out.

I have no idea how but I've had my iPhone 14 Pro Max since September when it released, I had all the developer betas for iOS 16 and iOS 17 and I'm still on 100% maximum capacity somehow

I must be lucky because I’m getting 11hrs of screen on time with almost 30% battery still left on ios17. I only charge once a day at night and it’s been fantastic on my 14 pro max. I do have a few tiny bugs but nothing worth complaining about. I find iOS 17 just as stable as 16.5.

Only issue I had with Beta 1 is my VPN didn’t work, beta 2 VPN works and haven’t ran into any bugs. iPad and watch beta’s have been solid. Haven’t tried TV or Mac beta’s yet

I’m not sure why your device was changing wallpapers with focus mode…odd mine doesn’t and I’m on 16.6 beta Maybe it was just select devices doing this my best friend has a 14pro and also doesn’t have that issue. The main thing I’ve noticed is the battery life has gone back down, I was getting 3 days on a full charge now I’m only getting 2 hopefully it stabilizes again on 17, but doubtful considering all these features will just eat at the battery.

Can confirm the keyboard issue on mine, battery has been lasting some days and falling fast on others, free storage seems to be bugged though. One weird bug I have (carried over from iOS16) is that CarPlay completely freezes and then the phone is disconnected from the car only at a specific location when I pass by. It has been consistent yet I’ve no idea how to identify the cause or replicate the issue other than driving by the same area.

My XS battery health dropped from 86 to 83 in 6 months, should I be worried? What can I do to help with this? And at what percent BH would i definitely need to get it replaced?

12:00 I think you have to select what part of the photo is going to be the sticker (like in that photo, hold on the iPhone on the right so the app do the cut, like in photos app, hold the subject to make the sticker)

Can confirm about the battery life degradation. I got my iPhone 14 pro in late September last year and till May it was hundred percent. But after installing the beta in June and it’s now 97%.

It’s weird my 14 pro had garbage battery life when I charged it religiously between 20 and 80%. When I started charging it overnight to 100%, I’m getting like 4-5 hours screen on time using about 50% of the battery

My screen got a black overlay that when I rotate the screen rotates delayed making me realize I have a much brighter screen. Much brighter that I can adjust in the beightness slider

I wish they would add outside temp to Carplay display. Maybe under the clock or signal strength.
