Hello, I was wonder if you will be able to assist me with an situation that I’m trying to resolve in excel.
Scenario: On sheet one (Fiscal year 14) it has budget info such as formula, names, titles etc. this info changes daily. I did a copy past link onto sheet two( fiscal year 15) so it will automatically update any info i may need for the next year. However when I’m done with sheet one and utilize sheet two for the new fiscal year I’m not able to make the necessary changes with receiving and error because I used copy paste link.Is there something I can do that will allowed me to do something similar to copy past link but allows me to make the necessary changes without receiving an formula error ?

Thanks for the video. My question is, I need to copy and update the data from the main sheet but when deleted from main sheet shouldn't delete the copy. Basically, I use main sheet as temporary where I add, update and delete data, but the copy sheet should have all data that is entered in the main sheet as a database. Any ways to accomplish this. Expecting your help. Thanks

Will this also capture new entries? I need something that will mirror the entire sheet. There's a server copy of a Workbook and each of us has our own working copy we can filter and manipulate. When there are updates to the master, we want our copies to be automatically updated. These updates could include new row entries, updates to existing cells, and in rare cases, new columns.

When I have a excel sheet that is a table, and I want it to auto update in another spreadsheet once a value is tyoed into the table on the other sheet, When its supposed to be blank it shows a value of 0 or date of 01/01/1889. I need to feed this into Tableau but cant because it keeps showing these weird values in the areas that are supposed to be blank! So annoyed! I tried to take off the values in the advanced options but apparently it just hides it and when it goes to Tableau, Tableau sees those hidden annoying values..

I have a doubt!
If you have "50"in A1 n A2 in sheet 2...how can we auto update both when A1 is changed in sheet 1 ?? Like when 50 ->x in sheet 1...it should automatically change both the values to "x" in sheet 2
