Hello everyone, I just want to say that this video is to encourage people to get the health pass. We flew out to Paris on August 27th. I believe the health pass mandatory for tourists started in August, and there was much higher volume of applications for the health pass that the french government had to process.

When we were traveling from August 27th and September 6th, everywhere we went, we were approached by clerks with the barcode scanner and asked to show them the health pass. We had to ask if they could accept our vaccine certification instead. Here is the situation back then 01:56

I’m glad to hear that now the waiting period is shorter than before and everyone can enjoy traveling without worrying about losing the only valid U.S. vaccine card = a piece of paper 😅

I was in Paris in early October. About 90% of the restaurants/cafes scan the bar code on your health pass.

Thanks. I just applied yesterday and surprisingly got the reply in 5 hours with the health pass attached on the mail. I think it is easier to get the French Health Pass if your vaccination certificate issued at your home country is carrying a QR code. I understand thet the US issued vaccination card don’t have one on it.

Its always a good idea to know a little bit if French when visiting France although you can get away with English in the tourist areas. Shouting English at someone in a foreign country is sooo rude! Also you are on holiday to experience the culture & sights of the country… Stop scrolling on your damn phone and pay attention to where you are and what is going on around you! Isn’t that why you are traveling???
