Ok, besides the name…i didnt know much about the louvre or what it had inside 😅. And i got this virtual tour. Considering im an uncultured swine, i gain a sense of appreciation for the works inside and of the work of louvre itself.

The checkered floor and architecture of the palace of versailles reminds me of the getty musuem. Am i off with that link? Was the getty musuem inspired by french architecture and or the palace of versailles?
