For me, personally, love the sound of the PST 7's. Eyes shut, just listening, bright sharp n crisp, great choice for the price point. The other two series to low in pitch for me.Thanks Brother, happy new year😊❤

Man… I’m digging the Color sound cymbals for sound and the visuals ! Good job ! Thanks !

For me it’s
1) Masters dark
2) PST7
3) Colour sound

The colour sound crash and ride don’t open up as well as the rest

Just ordered a used pst7 17" crash. Super excited for it to arrive

Hmmmm….🤔 I seldom hear a Paiste I don’t like in some form or fashion. Nice comparison video and playing! Happy New Year and thanks for the inspiration!😎🥁

Happy new year Joe!
I have a full set of PST7's and I never regret buying them. Asked you last summer via Instagram DM's if you could tell me more about them (was looking after new cymbals at this time). You recommendend me the PST7 because they're such a great deal! I'll be forver thankful that you encouraged me in my decision.

Personally, I preferred the mid-range cymbals, particularly the ride and crash in mid-range, but I did like the high end hi-hat better.

I’m playing all Wuhan Western series, and they’re B20 and dirt cheap. They actually sound great kinda similar to AAX in my opinion. Budget doesn’t always mean bad sounding for sure….👍🏻

I got the Paiste PST7 pack from ZZounds after using Sabian and Zildjian forever. Great cymbals.

You clearly know how to record drums. I've never heard the Color sound, Sound so good ! 🤩If I had to start all over again, going back 40 yrs, I'd buy the PST7 line and a Yamaha Stage Custom. Its all you need unless you plan to become a full time professional. Then you'll need a Ludwig, Gretsch or Yammy RC in your studio and based on what I saw at that 6 1/2 hr FireAid Concert, A DW Collectors (Looks like 90% of the drummers were playing DW, Why ? 🤣😂🤣

They all sound fine...just a matter of preference....Crisp and fast...or dark and have a set of color sound hats I've been using for almost 40 years

My wife was nice enough to buy me some PST7 cymbals last year and they came in a pack of four! Very good price and value for the money 💴! Thanks 🙏 brother for sharing your video!

Brother I love my PST7 cymbals. They sound great, they are super durable, they look nice, and they are very affordable.

No question the masters instantly sound 10 times better to my ears than the other two sets

The PST7s sounded a little bright on their own, but good in the mix. I was surprised how good those color sounds were. The other demos I've watched had them sounding kind of lifeless (best way I could describe it). The Masters sounded great on their own and with the music.

Does price matter? Well I don’t have the best ear, but with my ear duds in, it certainly does. To me, even the cheapest set sounds good, but as the price goes up, so does the sound quality.
This is a great comparison the way you jumped between cymbals in a rapid manner. In so many o the sound comparisons, there is such a gap between switching that by the time the drummer goes through demonstrating the sound of whatever is being rated, I forget what the others sounded like😵‍💫.
Also, Joey, you did a great job with your song choice to hi-lite the cymbal sounds, and your drumming was top shelf.
Happy new year to you, my young friend.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️

Paiste is great. That said, I never liked any 900 crash. Overall I'd rank them Masters>900>Pst7, in crash alone probably Masters>Pst7>900.

I've been using the PST7 series for rehearsal/practicing for about two years now, saving the life of the 2002s/Giant beats for gigs and more serious recording. In a low-volume setting, the 7s are excellent.
