I met Tim Shahady a few years ago when I was working at the Guitar Center in San Antonio. He gave me quite the education on Paiste. We went into the cymbal room and demonstrated the quality control and consistency Paiste puts out. I've been hooked ever since. I play on a mix of 2002s, Signatures and Twenty's series cymbals.

I've been a meinl guy for years now. I've gotten a few byzance cymbals and I heard Paiste's Signature Traditional line, and their Masters series as well and I am just blown away. As much love as I have for Meinl, the Paistes just had that sound I've been hearing in my head this whole time. It's like falling in love again lol

I started on Paiste 200 cymbals when I was a kid. I progressed through the different lines though out the years (1000, 2000, 3000, Sound Formula, Signature, etc..) I literally have never played another cymbal since I am very spoiled on that great sound. My current setup consists of Signatures, Sound Formulas and Visions....Maybe one day I will be a member of the Paiste artist roster...fingers crossed!!

What I love about the paiste is the hihat. Theyre super crisp. But I still prefer the mastersound hihat cause it gives me a great wash and crisp.

Jared barely talked about paiste, it was mostly about Drumeo lol. But yea I love the sound of Paiste cymbals, especially the splashes he was using there

What line is that cymbal with the holes in it? When i search it up all i can find is the Paiste Alpha Swiss Crashes but that one doesn't look like an Alpha. If anyone could tell me i would appreciate it :)
