Does the chord feature work with garageband on iPad or does it need to be connected to a computer with the drivers and software?

When I am in chord mode, randomly, when I play different keys and I press quickly some key, sometimes one of the notes keeps playing, as it was a sustained note. Someone have had this issue?
I use Ableton Live
