M-Audio Oxygen Pro MINI - Customizing the Drum Pad Colors, Notes, and Parameters

The M-Audio Oxygen Pro Mini is quite the little USB powered controller and comes with 8 drum pads. In this video I show how to change the colors on the drum pads of the M Audio Oxygen Pro Mini, as well as how to change the other parameters such as the midi note or program change, the midi channel, as well as note repeat!

I forgot to mention this in the video, but to save the settings, instead of tapping on the 'Back' button, tap on the 'DAW/Preset' button and it will bring you to the save menu!

You haven't tell what preset or daw you were on, Once I'm playing the 'Hybrid 'mini grand and the velvet it's all about the piano once I'm in my daw fl studio 20 it's play a single instrument I can't play the piano and the drum in the drum pad at the same time which is my struggle.

Really helpful!! Thank you! with the color change...when you unplug your midi while changing the colors via the keyboard itself it won't save the preset the next time you plug it back in, it will reset to the default, to save it you have to change the colors throught the m audio oxygen pro mini editor software that you can get throught the m audio website on a PC, there you can save the colors you chose through it's interface. Then when you unplug and plug it back in it will remain the colors you choose along with other changes you make through the software....unless you did mention that part and I missed it then sorry for having you read this!! 😥 But love your videos!! So helpful!!

im still confused. when i launch ableton light and set to daw mode, it keeps the pads set to playing armed tracks in a row. how do i set it to playing sounds like his?

Mr. Douglas, please tell me, help me in this matter. In Oxygen Pro Mini, if you run clips and samples in Ableton on this keyboard, the pads will display the same color as the sample or not. I accidentally found a video on YouTube. there it was that the pads glowed only yellow, and when playing green. the pads will display the same color as in the sample or not. or it will just be some kind of monochrome of a certain color. please tell me, in Oxygen about 25, if they change it, then the pads will display the color of the samples that will be in Ableton.
