I'm a Rural Firefighter, 11 years. The worst wildfire I have faced was about 1/10th of what happened, and I was terrified. I will go and face the monster again, because it WILL return, and if we don't fight it, we all lose.

And please, don't thank me. GO out and clean your gutters instead. Put your Plan in place. VOTE. THAT is what I really want from you.

I watched this documentary on Prime. What I have to say is the Gov official who isn't seeming to help needs the boot out of office. Place people in there that have followed deeply what the earth is doing. Another thing I learned from a tiny girl from my Grandma and I'm 70 now is if something is going wrong something has to change because what is being done isn't working. All of you keep pushing forward the best efforts of prevention will help or cure the problem. If it doesn't then what comes is our destiny. That is if you don't try all you can do then there is sure to be failure. Blessings and safe paths🙏

I cannot unsee the poor burnt Koala crying in this movie and I'll never forget the lies of Morrison, Taylor, Abbott and Howard or lose my resolve to see them all face justice for what they have done.

I wish this documentary was available to be shown in classrooms as students need to see it. Unfortunately Amazon Prime licensing doesn't allow us to show it in educational settings. My students would learn so much from watching it (as readings and lectures do not convey the true connectedness and horror of what is happening in Australia and elsewhere around the world).

they saw it coming, and let it happen, did nothing to avoid or lessen the dmg. Acknowledging that the climate change its real would mean companies would suffer to most, less production, more costs to prevent polution. Politicians all over the world are bought by companies to promote their interest not the interest of the people in the country they are in. Money its what matter, not people, not some bushes, not the animals, if they have to die so be it as long it makes money for them and it does quite a lot.

They should have also interviewed Roland Stokes! He was affected by the fires and nearly lost his youngest daughter because of them. Even started a go fund me page for a co2 scubbing machine for Australia

To be fair the film not mentioned & focused how the fire ignited in the first place (by nature or human) and how to prevent them, GW & PM were only prey of blaming. They ppl accept bushfire is normal life there and still enjoy using products said they cause GW. It's like another kinda propaganda.

In some ways we are lucky in australia. Even though the innept and corrupt LNP is in power 70% of the time, our labor party is actually very good when compared to most other major political partys in the developed world. Our unions are still fairly strong here, so we actually have an entity which lobby's parliment on the average persons behalf. The average australian has a voice in parliment thanks to the unions and the australian labor party. Without them when new legislation is being written, or old legislation is being amended, it would only be the needs of one corporation being considered over the needs of another corporation.
We have strong workers rights, free healthcare, paid holidays, the pension, super annuation, paid maternity leave, penalty rates and much more, all thanks to the australian labor party. They are also much better economic managers according to the OECD rankings of everytime they have been elected.
It really is a shame that most australians are kept ignorant of this. The main stream media works tirelessly to hide these facts, they want a party elected that serves their interests, being the LNP, and not yours or mine.

very scary stuff, i live in a high risk area and wonder if my house will still exist during the time i live here. Whats clear is the liberal/national coalition govt are completely unable to even see the issues, let alone make any meaningful change... they are worse than useless so we need another driver of change

Everyone should watch this and tell everyone you know to vote for Labor

This was the biggest one sided agenda driven documentary I’ve ever seen. I don’t support the liberal party or deny climate change by the way. This film misses so much of the actual story and what can be done about this situation in Australia. Absolutely disgraceful

Australia was burning and prime minister went on vacation to Hawaii.
Australians questioned aggressively..
Heat wave in TN CM went vacation in Kodaikanal.
It is people's right to go for holiday BUT timing is important.
Even at home, will you go when your loved one is gravely ill suddenly?
Places won't go away!
Think practically.
The interviewer, many l saw needs rational thinking.
