The frizzy to smooth didn't even have frizzy hair. Her hair was wavy, but the wave pattern was intact. I would have rather seen a tutorial about how to grow your hair that long without significant damage to the ends. That's real information we need.

The amount of people who see nothing wrong with lying these days is just mind blowing. I'm not on tick tock thankfully, but it just makes you wonder what kinds of things your kids might be watching that is just out right lies. The word
" influencer" should be a huge red flag. Thanks for the video!

Washing my bangs, yes that’s what I do sometimes when only the bangs are oily due to the forehead having moisturiser and sunscreen while the rest are still clean. It really saves more time than stepping into the shower and doing the whole routine.

Frizzy to smooth wasn't even a little frizzy, just wavy.
Reminds me of older commericials that show wavy/curly hair as the ugly before and straightened hair as the after.
Pisses me off as a curly girl, as in no matter how neat my hair is, it's always the "messy" before.

As others have said, I would love to see a wider range of product recommendations because of accessibility. I live in the EU.

How to get rid of split ends at 5:15 is 100% a valid technique to fix internal damage (in other words, shorter hairs that are splitting at the ends throughout long hair). The technique is called dusting and it's taught at hair salon schools. Frequently this is the ONLY way to achieve long, healthy hair that stays smooth and glossy! Dusting also helps you to grow out your hair so it's healthy without taking length off. VERY little is taken off so it won't keep your hair from growing any more than a short trim of your ends will. It's important for all splits to be removed because they tend to split further up the hair shaft. When my hair was damaged from bleaching my hairdresser regularly dusted my hair until my hair got into better condition, and now I do it myself now and again to maintain healthy long hair!

i love it when you can tell the hair is already styled, and they just play with their hair and pretend thats what styled the hair 😂

I feel like the one with washing only the top of her hair is a game changer.
"just wash your hair" sure lets spend and hour washing and blowdrying my hair. Wanna use a heat tool? sure, if you've got the time to spend more time on that.
No hate <3
People with very long a thicc hair need to plan their wash days
Lovely video, btw

The second hack has worked for me with my oily face + fringe combo. Had a nice style overnight but the fringe got oily, so I only washed thatbpart and could go the day without washing my whole head. Granted, that also worked because I have an oily forehead and by the next day I wash all of my hair without overly drying the fringe section. But I only do it if I'm in a pinch

Many people like me have most of our split ends on our mids. Reason being that's all the bits that are not getting regularly trimmed by the hairdresser and still being exposed to heat.

For sleeping - high bun + bonnet :3 Those are my faves - sometimes two braids + bonnet

I started putting my hair in a rather relaxed bun on top of my head before sleep, not pulling on anything and holding the end of the hair with a crocodile clip and it has been a total gamechanger.

I have had professionals cut my hair like in the video for split ends and tell me "they are cleaning up my frizzies". It frustrates me because it's not frizz, it's natural wave in my hair.

I definitely have split ends in my shorter hair, that’s higher up. My mid section is actually my worst part of my hair and my real ends are super healthy. I have to cut the split ends of the mid section because it looks worse if I don’t and the split ends get worse. You can have split ends in your shorter parts and regrowth too.

Nope! Washing my part only, I don't section like she does, has been a huge game changer. My mids* and ends are good for 4-5 days but my part needs washing on day 3. 🙃

I would say the technique of the girl who washed the top of her head was a game changer, because there are days you want to freshen your hair but are still trying to keep from washing all of it. I thought that was pretty clever. Also, for the woman who blowdried her hair instead of straightening it- wasn't that a much better alternative because it's less heat on the hair? I don't think blow-dryers get as hot as straighteners. So, those are both game changers for me! My two cents.

She probably just washed the top section when she was skipping a wash day. Ive done that many times to avoid the oily scalp. I think it's genius! Works for me!

I personally in response to the sock hack use a silk pillowcase! I have hip length 3c curly hair and that was a big one for me in waking up with less frizz, it’s also good for acne as it’s not holding as much face oils etc, I also like that it tends to stay cooler than cotton pillowcases for me, so def recommend bonnet/and or pillowcase for those that find the bonnet too uncomfortable to sleep in :)

what you're forgetting about washing hair is that for loads of people, washing your full hair requires so much time, effort and steps that they just won't do it at all, having a way to have it at least look clean in 5 minutes *is* a game changer for all those people, including myself
