But what if you have just 2 years, 2021 and 2022. But you only want to show the latest oderdate which will be the one in 2022? No sales needed, a straight max date? How do you do that? Mine keeps flipping back and forth to the max date of 2021 and 2022.

How can we show the current month-1 by default and if user selects dates between range, then value should show on and that range should not current month or future selection.

If future selected then the value should show current month-1(previous month) data.

No need to gv a measure..you can simple sort the values by latest date or use filter as top N vales with sorting size as 1.
