Russian Pilot Defected, now Dead in Spain

19.02.2024 | Most have heard about the death of Alexei #Navalny, described as the leader of Russia’s opposition. His death was announced on the 16th of February.
On 19.02.2024, another death was confirmed in Spain; the 28-year-old Russian pilot who defected with a Russian Helicopter body was found, and according to Russian media, he was shot and run over in #Spain.
What happens inside Russia, like Navalny, is a domestic issue despite the global shock it causes, but killing someone outside of Russia is a transgression of national sovereignty.
