His math is simple. A war crime tribunal is 1, 000 times better than a death by Ukrainian artillery or his comrade sledgehammer.

Most people probably don’t know this, but a Ukrainian did a research on him that he already completed a 6 months tour for the Wagner group. He had probably killed a lot of Ukrainians and it’s only that he’s afraid they might send him again that he decided to escape.

Something about him doesn't sit right with me, call it a gut feeling, call it instinct, there's more there than meets the eye I'm sure.

All around sad to realize we live in a world and in a day and age where such things still take place.

I'm glad he made the decision he did, these are the kinds of things that help stop wars. The human element shouldn't be underestimated

Takes courage to speak out about this, especially since he knows he's on all sorts of hitlists because of it.

Ukrainian warriors are fighting for their lives, their wives, their sons, their daughters, their mothers, their fathers, their land, and their freedom. What are Russian soldiers fighting for?

He cannot say that he witnessed civilians been murdered, because that would mean he did it to---the thing about a criminal is that, you know they will

During the Russo-Finnish Winter War of 1939, 250, 000 Russian's either froze to death or were slaughtered due to Stalin's incompetence. If little Finland can inflict such pain on Russia then just imagine what Ukraine is doing to Russia. SLAVA UKRAINE!

He just doesn't want to expose the people he fought with I'm sure he saw bad stuff. He just doesn't want to say it

Wow this guy's got some guts to come forward like he did. Update, I can't believe some of the replies to my original comment. I was just stating how this guy was pretty brave to try and get away from the Russian army. It sounds like he would of ended up getting killed even if he stayed and fought for Russia, so he took a chance and got away even though that was just as risky as staying to fight, that doesn't mean that I'm condoning what the russians did to the Ukrainian people. Some people go overboard just from a simple comment! Lol

3:48 Gotta say, that is a bit of a Super-Chad Judo technique right there....Basically, thanking the guys he escaped from for training him with the knowledge and skills he used to escape from them....

That brings tears to the eyes, this brave young men bearing witness to the brave young men, Russians and Ukrainians who died in this senseless war.

Similar to what Leónidas said to Xerxes. Russia has many slaves and prisoners for war, but few warriors compared to Ukraine.

There's something off about this guy. The many checkpoints question made him extremely uneasy
