Like his niece wrote in her book, when at school he would try to bullie others, but when confronted he would go home crying.

I wouldnt ever think of the hate cheeto as masculine in any sense.

Nailed it, this old-fashioned version of masculinity is also known as being a bully.

To Trump, masculinity = being a bully.

Thank you Tressie McMillan for pointing out the inconsistencies in the masculine definition without actually excusing the behavior 🤷

I guess being a felon is seen as masculine nowadays.

Yes this is definitely part of the problem. Young men idolize him and think his racism and misogyny are what they want.

So true!!! And so sad. Please have the same lady explain to all these lost men what real masculinity is, please!!!! They need to hear this/

I wish more people would look to Aragorn from The Lord of the Rings as their guidance for positive masculinity. He was the perfect example of balance between strength and gentleness, action and thought. This explanation of what Trump gives people is so intensely accurate, yet so simple that it's easy to overlook.

She lady is right on target AND THIS NATIONAL DISCUSSION MATTERS!

If Donald Trump's worried about masculinity, he's got a lot of work to do on himself.

“A nice little stopgap.” Like when your toilet is clogged!😂

Wow. This resonates with me. My husband supported trump and probably still does and he is in many ways a child. Grown-up children are dangerous.

A real man doesn’t need affirmation he knows he’s a man is just that simple in my opinion !!😊

I think she meant that you can’t rely on subjugating women, but she’s trying to be less offensive

Trump’s intellectual, emotional and ideological development was arrested at the age of 13. We should be discussing boyhood and adolescence, not manhood and masculinity. Trump is a boy in the body of a declining senior, a genius only in the upward fail. He’s suffering, inflicts that suffering on the rest of us, and the people who enabled him to do that should be tried for elder abuse.

This very eloquently puts the demands for equality into simple terms.
