I watched the Liverpool game with my brother, a Liverpool fan. And after the first two goals, I kept a high spirit and knew Madrid would win because Liverpool players looked more worried than the confident Madrid players. Elite mentality.

There has been many games where Real Madrid should’ve lost but still won, the thing with them is they never lose composure.

The composure & Belief of the MADRID team makes them the LEGENDS of UCL...

Classy man... Others would say it's luck but he knows it's experience. When you've been through a situation over and over you just kinda know how to find your way out

he is not wrong, i've seen it in madrid so many times, they never stop fighting and have won so many times where other teams would have lost morale or hope. it's impressive and i hate them for it hashaha

In the city game in 2022, just before half-time, the score was 0-0 (3-4 on aggregate) and Benzema and Casemiro were laughing.

That's what separates winners even in regular life. Going down is part of the process for winners hence they maintain the same positive attitude and mindset.

Experience is vitally important in winning knockout football. When you couple success with experience, it seriously strengthens a team.

Yep, it's Grit. It's determination and not losing composure. Real Madrid always have someone in the squad who has experienced it firsthand, and he probably teaches the players to overcome the "doubt ".

Kudos to Real Madrid, Real talk from Rodri over there. Even Bayern Munich known for their unbreakable mentality is crushing most of the time when they face Real Madrid. Maybe that kind of Self Belief inculcated when you are a Player of Real Madrid..
This coming from a Bayern Munich fan since 2002.
Mia San Mia!!!

This is very smart observation by Rodri. He's not only have great vision on the field, he can sees another side of the game.
He will be great manager in the future, just like another DMF coaches like Guardiola and Xabi Alonso

It's actually insane, it's almost magic. There's no exact science to express that kinda emotion. I played rugby when I was a kid and we got on a bunch of tournament finals, and before a final there's a moment, one moment in which it's almost like all the pressure, all the weight lifts off, and only thing you can hear is silence. Like absolute silence. You see the pitch and you can almost see butterflies flying over. It's not really about mentality, nor I believe it's just "destiny". A good coach create the conditions for you to be able to play a final without even noticing yourself. What lifts off in that moment I think is the human doubt. You really become something else. If that happens to me, as a kid, playing a little rugby tournament, I can't even imagine at this levels how tough it is to reach such "zone", with all that is on stake, and again it's not mental, it's almost spiritual I'd say. It's not something you have to do, it's just something that "happens".
