I think Real Madrid might find world class players time and again, but it will be very difficult to find replacement for Florentino Perez

Henry is right, Real Madrid knows when to release legendary players in the squad, Ronaldo, Casemiro, Varane, and who to keep. Modric is 38 y.o, Kroos is 34 and RM keeps renovating their contracts. They are essential mentors to new midfield players like Bellingham, Tchoumeni or Camavinga. It's the reason RM keep winning CL, they know how to transition their squad.

One thing they forget is that florentino perez has a rule that after 30 the vets take a small salary cut and season by season performance in order to extend their contracts, which i think is a key thing in the team

Real Madrid got rid off Di Stefano in 1964, and he was the best player in the history of this club. And they won the UCL in 1966, just two years after his departure

Henry is right. Mentorship is very important for sustainability and longevity. Kroos and Modric are mentors for the young team, look how Messi suarez and neymar left and never mentored anyone in Barca not Gavi, Pedri Ansu Fati or any of the others, and it shows in their struggles in Barca. That's why Real Madrid have dominated for decades.

I have to say that I’m concerned as a Real Madrid fan. When things start looking too good to be true, this… “super team”, it probably IS too good to be true. I don’t think we’ll be that unstoppable.

Is like building the first global empire on earth, bravery, experience, perfect timing, never giving-up, making hard decisions, never looking back, and always being fair and equal to all.

It's seems funny to me as Madrid used to get bash for "NOT RESPECTING THEIR LEGENDS" for not renewing contracts or not giving fancy farewell..

The recruitment they do, pick up young Brazilian talent, give them time to develop like Rodyrgo, vinicius and who knew valverde, brahim diaz, from city, to milan and loan, doing well now.Thir scouting and the players they recruit, play their for years.Legendary club

Thierry said it right. Look how calm Madrid were when they had to chase a result against Barcelona. Modric and Kroos, the two old legs, you don't expect them to run like teenagers anymore. What you need from them is continuity and experience. They slow down the game, control the ball movements and poke for cracks in the defense of the opponents. The younger guys are watching and learning, especially Bellingham. Jude is very confident but brashful and egotistic at times. If he watches Modric and Kroos long enough, he'll probably learn how to bring his game up another level or two.

Remember this is a Real Madrid team transitioning from the departures of Bale, Benzema... and replacing those important pieces little by little, not all at once. This season they had to cope many months without Militao and an entire season without Alaba and Courtois.

The next phase will be scary I reckon.

rather than knowing to let players go, its the players that had been brought in had been outrageously talented. when benzema was planning to go to saudi, they already plotted to bring in mbappe even though vinicious and rodrygo had been outstanding. its actually became easier for real to attract young talented players by pitching the ucl dominance.
