Anyone who pays $1500, for a T Swift cd, needs to give their heads a shake ..you could buy a decent cd /amp /speakers ....and some decent music for that amount !😉🙂

About 10 years ago at a resale shop I found a copy of Jerry Reed East Bound And Down Smoky and the Bandit soundtrack on CD for seven dollars. It's been out of print since 92. It sold for $400.00. What a find!

I really appreciated how you didn’t go for just the easy “high value” ones like the Safety EP etc and gave broad notes on general genres to look for. Definitely learned something new. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely one of the best actionable videos in a long list great content. Although not in my area of knowledge however, i have put a few of the sealed long boxes in my box when at estate sales. We were very thankful with the results and how quickly they sold. Thanks again.

That Dead box set is incredible. One of the best housing units with amazing artwork. The Europe 72’ box set is also very pricey, somewhat surprised it didn’t make this list as well.

Definitely enjoying some new information. The learning curve as a reseller seems to be never ending. Just when you think you have an idea of the value of things something new comes up that you never would've expected.

I have MANY of these albums in my CD collection, but they're not sealed OR in the longboxes anymore, because I've listened to them already and I still enjoy hearing them every once in a while!

CDs are great sellers. Cheap to buy(usually), easy to list and easy to ship. I bought 2000 mostly import classical music CDs from 1984 to mid 90s for 400 bucks and 100+ 90s hiphop/rap CDs for only 30 bucks. Several sold for as little as 3 but some have sold for as much as 100+ dollars while most got for 5 to 25. I use card board as stiffeners taped to both sides and then shipped in padded envelopes with zero issues. Its a great way to make use of excess card board you might have laying around. Buy a cheap paper cutting board and make a bunch of stiffeners when you can.

Abbey Road first Japan pressing. That CD was going for 20K in its heyday. It is still considered by many to be the best sounding version of that title. I have it. I paid 20 bucks when it first came out. It was packaged in a blister package with an OBI. It contains all the lyrics in both Japanese and English.

I never thought to keep my cardboard CD long boxes. I remember there was a time I cut them up & made a collage out of them. It looked pretty good too.

As always, your videos are amazingly informative! I didn't realize CD's were doing much anymore. I have been focusing on albums and cassettes, but I guess I need to dig a little more. Thank you for sharing!

I used to sell cds on Ebay and my best selling cds were old school rap cds. Mostly down south artists from Memphis TN and surrounding areas were the most sought after. Some of those OOP hip hop cds would bring in hundreds of dollars each. Sadly cds like that are hard to find in the wild with all the used physical media stores closing down 😢

I worked with Kim Cobain, the sister of Kurt Cobain back in the 90s. I asked her to have him sign a CD, and I'd pay her $20 for it. She brought me a CD with "Kurt" written in black marker on a CD. I didn't think it was his, and told her no way he signed that and I didn't take it. Now, , comparing his signatures to examples. I think it was actually his signature. 😬

I don't even know 3/4's of these and have never seen them before. You, never fail in giving out valuable information out to everyone for free. Thank you, Don. Charles in the UK
