my iphone 6 power button is broken i turned off my phone with full battery and now i cant get it back on even with doing this usb trick any ideas ? i would wait for battery to die and then plug it in but as i can not get it on i cant drain the battery

never occurred to you that a broken power button may mean it will again turn itself off rendering this "fix" useless and stupid.
