You might be able to put down a national park or two for amenities as well

you can teleport Great People to other towns from the action menu, instead of walking them.

Definitely one thing I hope for in Civ VII - that they address the "everything is a military/conquest victory".

Doing science? You now have more advanced units to cripple your opponents.
Doing religion/culture? Cripple your opponents militarily so they can't oppose you.
Doing diplomatic? Cripple your opponents militarily so they can't oppose you.

Playing on higher difficulties? Doesn't matter what victory you go for, the AI will attack you with their augmented advantages and taking insult on everything you do 9/10 games turning the game into a military one.
