House water tank cleaning and drain upgrades. Cleaning and upgrades is the basis for this video. I want to be able to clean one tank while providing water to the house from the other tank. Adding some drain valves up by the tank to reduce the amount of dirt that gets into the house piping.

I want to make sure I can clean one tank while still having water from the second tank. I install some valves and drains to make it easier. Big tank is dirty but the end results are great! I live in Florida and installed a 60 ft deep super well. It has a 3000 gallon tank nearly 10 feet tall. We have a lot of black sediment with gold flakes. To filter the water we have a 10 inch pre-filter to a Kinetico water softener and sulphur guard 2 stage system. We ahve a pool using a variable speed pump. My Son who takes care of my 3 acre property uses water directly from the tank to avoid salting the land from the softener. We have a lot of fruit and nut trees that do not like the salty water. He recommended that we do the same for the tank. I bought an off-brand variable speed pump and a 40, 000 gallon pool filter housing. That pump runs at a slow speed and cycles the water several times a day.

P.S.: I would prefer without chemicals… What do you think about this.
