This is so cool, drawing even a decent pose is difficult for me, but the GSL method helps so much with both practicing poses, but also a little anatomy, and clothing.

This was a great video. Since watching the prior video on the GSL method a few weeks ago, I've been trying to implement the gestural part of it to my drawings to help make them a bit more dynamic. As such, it was great to see Fei do more in-depth gesture sketches and the various approaches she use.

And yet, as instructive as this tutorial was, I actually find it more reassuring than anything. Watching how Fei approaches hidden parts of the figure and explain how crafting poses often involves some means of "investigating" and imperfetion at times was very important. It's too easy to feel stumped when drawing figures and feel like your skills or understanding are inadequate in some way; to hear and see a professional instructor go through some of those same challenges and provide insightful commentary on them helps reaffirm that these struggles are just a part of the process for all artists.

I've really been enjoying the content of late. Excellent work!
