Don't count on that fractured base in SSF, you might find one with crit but even 1 additional arrow, ehm probably not gonna happen...

Essence attack speed is higher than what can roll naturally from tier 1 attack speed, while essence crit is the same. Essence crit is also extremely useful for helmets for 10% reservation efficiency. So imo it's better to use attack speed essence if you've got em and try to save the crit ones for helms
