Side note, the Terrain is “Amplified” to make the altitude differences easier to see.

As someone from the Lowlands I have to correct you. There is like a manmade mountain leading up to a bridge. I always come prepared when traversing this 8 meter giant

While exaggerated, these maps put so many historic events into context. Spain and Portugal being somewhat isolated from other countries' expansion plans; Hannibal being a military G.O.A.T for crossing the alps with elefants to get to Rome; Europe in general being a relative chill place of living, because of the temperate climate creating such a green vegetation...

One thing to note is that the vertical distances are greatly exaggerated in this relief map, at least 5:1 if not 10:1 or more. In reality, the mountains are nowhere as tall as this relief map makes them out to be, but very cool visualization nonetheless.
