I will pull for Emilie, I already have Yelan and I do want Emilie for my future Kinich team, who I will also be pulling, as well as wanting to have some fun with burning in general.

A couple of things:
-You don't have to run XQ and Yelan together. They can go on separate teams who need off field hydro application, like an Arle team and an Ayato team.
-Yanfei is a more comfy version of Klee, with slightly less damage in exchange for survivability (through her c4) and easier stamina management. Anything Klee can do, Yanfei does better (except for mining).
-Nahida's got a better F2P weapon in the form of Sacrificial Fragments, which isn't banner-specific and gets her closer to 1k EM while also letting her connect Spiral Abyss waves sooner. Wandering Evenstar is niche outside of its atk buff, and only really useable on characters that like EM (Klee, Lisa, Heizou, Sucrose (but again, sac frags is better), Yae, and Yanfei). Even for almost all of the aforementioned characters, they also have Widsith as their other, more accessible DPS option.
-Makhaira Aquamarine is actually pretty okay on Kaveh (though he has other options like Fav GS, Sac GS, Skyward Pride, Forest Regalia, Bloodtainted, Rainslasher, and Mailed Flower), and it's PHENOMENAL on Sayu, especially at c6. With a high refinement, a c6 Sayu only needs to worry about building Em and ~160-200% ER. You could also give it to Beidou, Chongyun, Diluc, Gaming, and Razor (for the team you mentioned earlier).

i am waiting for Kinich, and unfortunately Emile is not visually appealing to me, so I will be skipping and hoping / praying on my knees that the pyro archon will be a good fit for him in some way shape or form. thankfully genshin is quite balanced and even if Emilie is considered to be on his A-Team, his B & C team will probably be at least able to clear abyss

Yelan is a min maxing character in a non-minmaxing game. For me I’d rather pull for a new 5 star that’ll give me more teams play with then pull a 5 star that’ll make abyss clears like 5 seconds faster, while feeling worse than if you played a 4 STAR that has defensive utility.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I made this comment after furina was released. Furina is an amazing character that both acts as a second Xq while allowing for fun new teams like for neurve and quick bloom, as well as being by far the best in slot for mostly all fountain characters, as well as plunge teams like Xiao and Hu Tao. While feeling better than xq because she’s an excuse to play defensive utility. Yelan isn’t a second xq, she’s a third xq that doesn’t create any new teams while still feeling worse to play. Yelan used to be a must pull but recently she’s fallen off significantly

I’d say Emilie is incredible, but she needs more investment than the average character. Her best in slot artifact set is pretty niche, deep wood is definitely viable but her maximum value comes from a domain that holds two (currently) niche sets. She’s definitely high A-tier but I wouldn’t recommend her currently. Although I’m pulling for her, waiting for her re-run is the better option tbh.

I have guaranteed and seeing my shitty luck in this game... No way am I risking my guarantee. I want Kinich. Will pull Emilie if she is better later on and I really need her.

Emilie does something that other teams cant - on E skill she can handle multiwaves. This is good for Cyno and Clorinde quickbloom for example. This means no relying on DMC for burst only. Then theres the melt teams where she can help units like Wriothesley and Ganyu due to again, multiwave. Freeing up nahida who's not ideal for these teams. Shes also the only one who's going to mame dehya useable for a unit like kinichi. Then theres lyney teams which can easily go emilie, dehya and benny. Or emilie, xiangling and benny. Though once the archon comes benny/xiangling can be replaced. If we get another pyro off field support unit that'll help too.

Overall even as a sub dps she's a good unit regardless for multiwave application where nahida fails given that nahida's issue is the multiple waves of enemies. 14 seconds cd but 22 uptime.

3:13 WRONG. With how burning works, it's literally just Pyro application with extra steps. So the possibility for team building for Emilie main is diverse if not endless.

Ex: Burnvape, burnmelt, burning load, burning burgeon. Her teammates goes as far as any Pyro damage dealer and works too well with anemo characters. She works well with SIGEWINNE, think about that. One does not need Natlan to come out to enjoy Emilie.

Pairing Nahida with Mualani is suicidal since she needs to hug the enemy.

I like Burning.a lot, but I already like my current Burning team and wouldn't replace any character to Emilie or Kinich... However if Kinich isn't as single-target as it looks I'll get him.

I want Emilie really bad and have already pre farmed her stuff... but with how scarce videos of her actual gameplay is and with Natlan right around the corner, deep down I know its better to wait for the rerun... even if it becomes non-existent like Wriothesley.

Still trying to get Yelan's bow but if I can't then I'll just wait for Liyue chronicle banner.... or just wait another two months since Yelan reruns every two months it feels like. I'm pretty sure she has had more reruns than any of the archons even, at least Venti and Zhongli
