Who should I wish for? Yelan. Who am I wishing for? Navia (and then Yelan if I get lucky).

As Yelan and Navia haver here are some things that I would highlight about them:

Yelan skill is insane for nearly all movement and she hasn't left my overworld party ever. The burst having aimbot level tracking(it hits pyro agents when they are invisible!) is also nice and combined with her ranged normals she can clear spread out enemies by just spamming normals. And if some are out of range the skill takes you there fast! She also pairs well with her competitors in Xingqiu and Furina and even when you use two out of the tree in one side of the abyss you still have one of them for the other side. There are many teams where Yelan is not the best option but a few where she isn't an option at all.

For Navia I was surprised that Xianyun was not mentioned. Plunge Navia is great and one of the more synergistic characters for Xianyun even without Furina. You can also double up on healers with Bennet and plunging has infinite interruption res, which makes the plunge teams really comfy to play. The E into 4 plunges with the infusion can be hard to execute but it's still good if you miss that and do a phys plunge. Double geo stuff stuff with Chiori or Zhongli is where she is best at, but if you don't have them solo geo is still more than viable. Geo MC is an option, but at that point what is better comes down to the abyss lineup and what characters you have available and feel good playing with. Skill based nuke damage is also good for finishing abyss chambers with full energy and in overworld you oneshot a lot of enemies. Also the voice-lines are funny. "Umbrella warfare I guess!"

Both Yelan and Navia are units that function well without specific units, and geo and hydro could be hard elements to get a good roster of characters, so I expect them to do really well in the Imaginarium theater when those cycles become around.

I actually wouldn’t recommend using Dendro Main Character with Emilie because their burst doesn’t play well with Pyro. When DMC’s Burst Bulb comes into contact with Pyro it will explode and disappear, ending the burst early. Just use Collei instead.

Pre-farmed everything for Furina and then red haired mf came home. Now im all set for Navia. *_hey there comin at ya_*

I think it's ok to get yelen even if you have Xingqiu and furina because in the new game mode you need 18 characters combined of 3 elements hence you need 6 well built characters of each element to 100% the new game mode every month
So even if you have Xingqiu, furina and Yelen you still lack 3 more hydro units .
( Now you understand why people hate the new game mode 🥲)

i really like Navia. Her story her character and shes pretty but i cant justify trying to get her as i am fully F2P and i just feel like yelan will be better for my account.

This banner is stacked, baby! You win almost no matter who you pull. My priority in order:

#1 Yelan - I cannot overstate how good she is. If you have Yelan and Furina, your off-field hydro/sub-DPS role is set (no need to grind for that C6 Xingqiu). Generally considered like the 4th best character in the game after Furina, Kazuha and Nahida, aka the account-makers. Only downside: you need the Chasm Underground to level her past 40.

#2 Navia - unless you have too many DPS' already; she's a super easy to use GEO DPS and her damage is amazing. I'm thinking about it, but I may save my pity for a Neuvillette re-run because I have too many DPSs already, although not a good GEO DPS.

#3 Nilou - IMO your account should be already stacked before you seek a niche character like her. I'm always on the fence with her: I cannot doubt her damage potential or ease of building her, but I also skip her every time because in my head this character only works on one team.... and I can already clear the Abyss without that team.

#4 Emilie - skip until you get to try her. I always wait and see. I remember Arlecchino being confusing in her description, but in practice she was easy and she hit like a truck. So I pulled for her. Wriothesley was the opposite. But in both cases I was glad I tried them first.

If anyone decided to pull navia. Here my experience. She was reason that I cleared 11 floor for first time and cleared 12 floor too. I skipped neuv and furina for her and she showed me how worth she is .

Natlan/fire pretty obvious Emilie is made for future characters from that region, no game company looks retroactively, they almost always look to the future

IMHO Yelan is the TOP1 character to pull for a new account. She'll be usefull from the moment you get her until the eternity. And she HUGELY improves the exploration in the game. I use her literally everyday.
It's hard to emphasize enough how great she is even if you already have or intend to pull other hydro off fielders

Emilie + c6 benette actuelly seems a great combo, enemies have to be near anyways
You just create constant burn, throw xianling in the mix and emilie becomes a main dps

If Kaveh is on second phase, I'm probably pulling for Yelan and holding of on Nilou. If he's not on either banner, I'm pulling for Nilou to have on my Kaveh team, eventually 😂 I just want my babygirl!

Yup, as I thought, your video helped. I got Navia's weapon when I was going for Ayaka's so I was debating wether to get her or Yelan. So, I will be getting Yelan as she is going to help a lot of my teams like Furina mono hydro and Yoimiya hypercarry. Thanks a lot for the video Shark!
