I appreciate this statement, Fr. Mike. My parish pastor, Fr. Dietrich gave me a lot of good advice about dating and marriage during a very difficult time in my life. He said to me once, (and sometimes even repeated this) "if you date a man who is willing to go to Mass with you and go to premarital education before anything else. He also said let him get a good ring and don't go to bed with him until after you are married." Excellent life advice for every woman at any age.
