I like the sound of old league, but in reality, I probably just miss being bad at the game with my friends. Back before, we realized we were throwing games or mismanaging waves, etc. We were just out there playing a silly little game like everyone else.

I think the 'prime' league a lot of people want is usually somewhere between S4 and S7. It was a fun time to play because a lot of awesome champions were coming out, the youtube community was PEAK and the constantly rotating game modes were incredibly fun for playing with friends.

"Used to be" and "state on release" are very different terms.
Nobody is complaining about jinx's cait's or jhin's guns, in fact everybody that played the seasons those characters were released will probably it was league's peak gameplay wise.

The problem is at some point the champions became way too flashy, dashing skill was a huge thing, now some heroes can do it 20 times while assinating you from space .

Old league is the ability to have fun those Weird Ap or Ad scaling, Super hero Landing Pantheon, Hecarim airlines, submarine reksai, Machinegun lulu to have fun and play those and have it Semi viable is fun.

I think i just miss season 3 out of nostalgia. Its where all my fondest memories were, i still had lots of irl friends and we all played and in general the community seemed much more enjoyable to be around

I can’t tell if he’s being willfully ignorant of the fact that what most people really want is old league but after it has been polished and most of the iconic champs had been added. Somewhere around s4-5

they call it "old league" because it was almost a decade ago now.
