HEAD & ARM CHOKE from TURTLE Position (18q)

In this video coach Chris Griffin shows the Head and Arm Choke from the Turtle position.

This move is a good one to have in your Jiu-Jitsu toolbox for when your opponent is shutting down your other turtle attacks. They most likely are not expecting your top side arm to come up under their arm from that position. They might expect your bottom side arm for a darce / brabo choke attempt but not the top side arm. Give this move a try and see if it improves your turtle submission percentage.
